We don’t believe exceptional bodywork comes from memorizing a massage routine.

The Flexus approach brings together massage therapy, bodywork, structural integration, mobility, and stretch therapy to give students a more complete understanding of the body.

You’ll learn to work with both tissue and movement—developing the clinical reasoning to assess what you’re seeing and feeling, choose an appropriate approach, observe the body’s response, and adapt your work to the individual in front of you.

Your education extends beyond traditional massage technique.

You’ll study the foundations required of a professional massage therapist while developing deeper skills in functional anatomy, therapeutic massage, bodywork, structural integration, fascia, biomechanics, mobility, assisted stretch therapy, assessment, and clinical reasoning.

Rather than teaching one rigid sequence, Flexus teaches you a toolbox of techniques and a system for deciding how to use them.

The goal isn’t simply to know what to do. It’s to understand what you’re feeling, why you’re choosing a technique, and how the body responds.

Yes. Stretch Therapy is a defining part of the Flexus education.

In addition to completing your massage therapy education, you’ll graduate with Flexus Stretch Therapy certification, giving you an additional hands-on skill set that can be integrated into massage sessions or offered as a specialized service of its own.

You’ll learn assisted stretching, mobility techniques, positioning, PNF and contract-relax techniques, joint movement, tissue-and-movement integration, and how to adapt these tools to different bodies and goals.

Massage is only part of the way we work with the body. Movement matters, too.

Flexus is designed to give you freedom in how you learn without sacrificing hands-on experience.

Approximately 550 hours of theory and foundational coursework are completed online, allowing you to learn at your own pace and on your own schedule. Students have up to two years to complete the program, making it possible to build your education around work, family, and life.

Once your online coursework is complete and tuition has been paid in full, you’ll join us in Utah for approximately 200 hours of immersive, hands-on training at our beautiful studio.

This is where everything comes together—massage, bodywork, structural integration, Stretch Therapy, assessment, movement, and clinical application.

Your training in massage therapy + certified Stretch Therapy can translate into traditional massage sessions, mobility-focused work, sports and recovery settings, movement-based practices, private practice, wellness environments, and integrated massage-and-stretch sessions.

750-hour Flexus Massage Therapy Program is $7,500.

The Flexus Massage Therapy Program is designed specifically around Utah’s massage therapy education and licensure requirements and provides a comprehensive 750-hour education that may meet or exceed educational requirements in many other states.

However, massage therapy licensing requirements vary by state and can change over time. If you plan to practice outside of Utah, it is ultimately your responsibility to verify the current requirements of the state in which you intend to become licensed.

We’ll do our best to help you navigate the process. If your state requires additional coursework, examinations, documentation, clinical hours, or other state-specific requirements beyond the Flexus program, those requirements may need to be completed separately.
